Join us at the HPO Annual General Meeting!

Join us on December 10, 2025 from Noon-1:30pm for Health Promotion Ontario's 2025 Annual General Meeting!  Non-members are welcome.

In addition to a year-in-review and sneak peek at the new HPO website, we will hear a keynote address from Dr. Claire Betker (Scientific Director of the National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health) about new opportunities for health promotion in the updated Core Competencies for Public Health in Canada.

Are you looking for ways to contribute to the practice of health promotion in Ontario?  HPO is looking for new members to join our executive committee, and we will be electing new members at the Annual General Meeting. Join our team! Share your passion! Share your ideas!

We are looking to fill the following roles for a two year-term:

-Vice-Chair

- Membership Coordinator

- Advocacy

- Post-Secondary Student Liaison

- Members At Large (2 positions)

Letters of interest will be accepted until end-of-day on Friday, December 5. Note that no previous experience in these roles is required and an orientation will be provided to all new members.
